Dining at Sky Lodge

Mountain View Dining Room

The Mountain View Dining Room is currently closed but will be open again soon.
Check back on the website or follow us on Facebook for updates.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!

The Mountain View Dining Room overlooks the Moose River valley and surrounding mountains, nestled in the historic Sky Lodge.

The lodge, originally built as a private hunting and fishing camp in 1929, is the largest fully log structure east of the Mississippi.

After, Unity College was donated the gift of the Sky Lodge property, work began to reinvigorate life into the Mountain View Dining room. This once bustling restaurant had been used privately for small groups for the last two decades.

Now open again to the public, Chef Nellie Booth is cooking from the heart with a passion for simple, exceptional food. She crafts new menus each season made from high-quality ingredients, as well as innovative recipes developed with today’s needs and trends in mind. Each menu is a nod to times gone by, with favorites that you may have found on one of the most weathered cards in your great-grandmother’s recipe box.

New specials are featured each week, sometimes daily.

Reservations are recommended, and some evenings we do fill to capacity. We strongly encourage calling ahead. We also have a private dining room for parties of 25 or less. Evening buy-outs are also possible.

Sky Lodge is also available for weddings, conferences, meetings, baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, holiday parties and much more. Custom cakes and desserts available for your table, pre-order 24 hours in advance to guarantee. Join us in our dining room or let us cater your next gathering at Sky Lodge.

Order from our dining menu as well as order ahead home-style heat and eat meals from our freezer case.

Homestyle Heat & Eat Frozen Meals

At Sky Lodge, we know that not every gathering is cause for a night out. Sometimes dinner together in your own home is exactly what you need. Whether you’ve got a group coming up to camp or you don’t want to worry about cooking tonight, we can provide food you’ll be proud to serve. We aim for each spoonful to provide the same comfort as home.

Each one of our recipes has been handed down from our own families. It is our hope that these dishes will become a part of your family as well.

All menu items are prepared by hand and frozen. Simply heat through prior to serving.
