The Mountain View Dining Room overlooks the Moose River valley and surrounding mountains, nestled in the historic Sky Lodge. The lodge, originally built as a private hunting and fishing camp in 1929, is the largest fully log structure east of the Mississippi.
After, Unity College was donated the gift of the Sky Lodge property, work began to reinvigorate life into the Mountain View Dining room. This once bustling restaurant had been used privately for small groups for the last two decades. Now open again to the public, Chef Nellie Booth is cooking from the heart with a passion for simple, exceptional food.
She crafts new menus each week made from high-quality ingredients, as well as innovative recipes developed with today’s needs and trends in mind. Each menu is a nod to times gone by, with favorites that you may have found on one of the most weathered cards in your great-grandmother’s recipe box.
Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
We also have a private dining room for parties of 25 or less. Evening buy-outs are also possible. Sky Lodge is also available for weddings, conferences, meetings, baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties, holiday parties and much more.
